Sean Wang
Sean Wang is the founder of SV Corporate Law. He has served as legal counsel for startups and emerging companies in Silicon Valley for nine years. He specializes in corporate structuring, corporate financing, transactions, mergers and acquisitions, securities issuances, and stock option plans. His areas of expertise include SAFEs, convertible notes, and NVCA preferred stock financing.
Sean's professional experience includes a substantial tenure at a major law firm in Silicon Valley, as well as extensive involvement with startup companies. He currently serves as legal counsel, applying his specialized expertise in corporate operations to advise a wide range of companies. His responsibilities include navigating complex legal frameworks and transactions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and facilitating smooth corporate
governance.
Sean holds law degrees from Northwestern University and Fudan University. He is admitted to practice law in California, New York, and China.
Grace Dong
Grace Dong has extensive experience in U.S. Immigration and Nationality Law. Her practice focuses on employment-based immigrant visas, including EB-1A for aliens with extraordinary ability, EB-1B for outstanding professors and researchers, EB-1C for multinational managers and executives, EB-2 for professionals with advanced degrees or exceptional ability (including National Interest Waivers), EB-3 for skilled workers, professionals, and other workers, PERM labor certification, and EB-5 for investors.
Furthermore, she skillfully navigates the complexities of various nonimmigrant visa categories, including H-1B for specialized occupations, L-1 for intracompany transfers, O for individuals with extraordinary talent, E for treaty traders and investors, and TN for Canadian and Mexican professionals. Her expertise in these areas makes her a valuable resource for both employers and individuals seeking to work or invest in the United States.
In addition to employment-based cases, Grace supports individuals with family-based immigration matters. Her services also include adjustment of status, consular processing, and naturalization.
Grace earned her LL.M. with honors from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, and her J.M. from Fudan University School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in New York State and China.
Grace is fluent in both English and Chinese.
